TFC Wins Three Honors at the 2026 Global Optical Fiber and Cable Conference

From October 18 to 20, the 2026 Global Optical Fiber and Cable Conference was held in Wuhan, China, under the theme “Fiber for AI · Leaping into the Future.” The event also featured the 20th ODC China Optical Communications Development and Competitiveness Forum and Awards Ceremony.

TFC was named among the“2026 Global Top 10 Most Competitive Enterprises in Optical Components (20th Edition)” and the “2026 China Top 10 Most Competitive Enterprises in Optical Components (20th Edition).” Ms. Ou Yang, Director and General Manager of TFC, also received the “2026 China Optical Communications Innovative Breakthrough Management Leader of the Year” award.

These three honors recognize TFC’s overall competitiveness, technological innovation, and management capabilities in the optical communications industry.

Solid Financial Performance Strengthens Competitiveness

As AI computing infrastructure continues to expand, demand for high-speed optical interconnect solutions is growing. TFC remains committed to its strategy of specialization, platform-based development, and globalization, leveraging its highly reusable technology platforms and vertically integrated capabilities to strengthen R&D, precision manufacturing, and high-volume delivery.

According to TFC's 2026 Semi-Annual Report, revenue reached RMB 2.828 billion in the first half of 2026, up 15.15% year over year, while net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 1.204 billion, an increase of 33.92% year over year.

Driving Innovation and Advancing Technology

TFC continues to invest in R&D and strengthen its technology platforms. R&D investment reached RMB 195 million in the first half of 2026, up 55.32% year over year. As of the end of 2025, TFC held 194 patents in China and overseas.

Serving AI data centers and high-speed data communications markets, TFC continues to advance its optical interconnect products and solutions for 800G and 1.6T applications, while pursuing next-generation technologies such as Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) and Near-Packaged Optics (NPO). These efforts build on TFC's strengths in technological innovation and precision manufacturing to support product development and commercialization.

Looking ahead, TFC will remain focused on high-speed optical interconnect technologies, deepen collaboration with customers and industry partners worldwide, and capitalize on opportunities driven by AI computing infrastructure to support the continued advancement of the global optical communications industry.
